Automation Issues
« on: March 15, 2016, 06:30:06 PM »
Hi,

I have a build farm which distributes tiled jobs to machines on a network using the automation scripting. I have some questions:

1. Is there some way to run world machine completely silently, no pop up windows etc
2. On certain pc's the process running world machine, will crash the process that spawned it after a few jobs, consistently. I am using the worldmachineCMD.exe, this is with DEV 3.0 and running windows 10. Are there any other commandline options I can enabled to get some debug info from WM? ntly using the -log option.

Any insight would be appreciated

Thanks,
Skara.

I resolved this, it was not WM related. The issue was with the way the process was waiting for WM to finish.

I was wondering, if there was a way to specify in scripting to only render ONE specific tile?

I want a 4 x 4 world, but I want each of 16 machines to render a tile.
