Probably been suggested before, but not seeing it on the last couple pages of the forum. I'd absolutely love native OpenEXR support in WM. It's the single best format when it comes to floating point files that are fairly space efficient, and also happens to integrate extremely well with more 3D apps.

As someone who uses WM in a vfx pipeline I would kill for exr output.  Even 16bpp tiffs can display banding.

I will try to push this feature up on the devlist, as it is a relatively popular request and shouldn't take too much work to support.

Any news on this?  I would prefer to output in fp but the native raw format is a pita.  In fact I can't seem to find an easy method of converting fp32 raw to exr.
