Thanks, WFab! Also, Napulion, you might want to try making the scene with the new snow device that was just released in the Mt. Daniel build, that just came out this week on the dev channel. The snow device has seen a major overhaul and creates much more accurate and realistic snow-coverage now. Hope that helps!
Try creating a rough terrain shape first, then blur the whole terrain to look like snow, masking out the rocky bits. I've tried this a few times, end up doing something in the texture most of the time. World machine filters aren't too accurate at that small scale.
Hello everyone! I'm trying to replicate a mountain landscape similar to this one (attachment):
As you can see, we have just to main colors: the snow and the rocks. The feature I'm trying to replicate is the rock effect like in the image, which is pretty delicate and poor since everything is covered by the snow. I've tried different things applyed to my landscape, from terrace to erosion, but still I cannot manage to replicate that feature. Is there a specific technique to replicate that in World Machine? Thank you very much!
