Hello,
If you would please create a native Mac version of your product. I hate using Windows and bought a copy of 8.1 just so I can run it in parallels on my Mac.
Thanks,
Randy Nash

Hi Randy,
I'd love to see a Mac version of WM appear; unfortunately it's not currently on any sort of timeline for implementation. I feel your pain though; my current work laptop that WM is partly developed on is actually a macbook pro with parallels, so I'd like to see a native version as much as anyone. :)

sorry for kind of necro this old post, but...
Does WM 3 work on MacBook i5 Mid 2010, when using Parallels???

There are some quirks while using Parallels which means that I cannot recommend it as a supported configuration for anyone. Speaking unofficially, I often use World Machine successfully in that configuration myself, but it is notably slower than running under Windows directly, and a few things work quite badly, including lighting in the 3D views and some problems viewing the results of large resolution terrains.

I tested with 2.3.7 pro on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro, Parallels 11 trail and Win XP SP3 - it Kind of works, but building @2K Fails and as you stated, 3D view have Problems with lighting and I noticed disappearing menus, when in Layout-View (on mouseover, the re-appear)
