Title: Multiple Biomes In One Map
Post by: allengingrich on February 18, 2016, 05:58:22 AM
How would I accomplish having a snowy world in the north, that transitions to a jungle in the southwest, and a swamp in the east? I think I do it with the chooser mode, using masks, but I would love to see examples or hear opinions. Thanks!

This is a very shrunk down map with a few different biomes surrounding a snowy mountain as per customer spec.

I used Combiners and masks to blend them together.

Ugly, there is an example world  World Machine Documents\Examples\New Examples for WM2.3\Techniques which shows how to do it smoothly. It really does depend though and often of times combiners do work.
