Geology and Terrain / Height Map Scaling

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question. I am experiencing some difficulty when using the height maps World Machine produces in other products. I am finding that when I use the height maps in other applications I am getting EPIC jaggy terrains, I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

This is currently experienced in L3DT and the Terrain Builder Application toolbox for Arma 3.

Any help is appreciated.

Firstly I am new to your product but am enjoying the learning experience. I am trying to develop terrains for a game called Arma 3. It is a military sim style First/3rd person shooter. I have been successful in getting my terrain into the engine but I am currently needing to conduct a middle step. The middle step is changing the scale of the height map in L3DT.


I am new to World Machine. I tried doing a high rez (4day render time) and at the end of the build i recieve an error "Unknown Error, There was an unknown error during the build process".

I have added the tmd file to this post. I am using River Preview 1.

I am happy to take advice on what I am doing wrong, I just can't get work out what I am doing wrong with this error.
