Bug Reports and Help / Little help needed
March 09, 2012, 02:49:25 pm
Hi,

I just need a little help. I want the erosion effects to be strong from the top of the mountain and down to about
the middle. From there I'd like it to start fading out or not be so strong if that make any sense. Anyone who can help
me with this?

I've added a image below and it is from the line and down I want the erosions to start fade out.

General Discussion / Wrold Machine to CryEnine 3
August 29, 2011, 02:05:32 pm
Hi,

Anyone know how to import World Machine terrains to CryEngine 3 and still get some decent details in the terrain?
I have managed to import some terrains, but they don't look to good. I can see that the grid in CryEngine have lots of more polygons it can use. I just don't understand why it doesn't use them.

Any help with this would be really great  :D

Feature Requests / 2 Requests
January 14, 2011, 06:37:08 am
Hi again,

1 -  I work a lot in the "Layout Mode" and I feel it's a little distracting that I have to swap between "Layout View" and "3D View" all the time just
to get a good look at what I'm doing so I had an idea. What if we could split the "Workview" in to two parts where one will be the "Layout View" and
the other the "3D View". This way it would be very easy to get a really good look at what you are doing right away and I can have a continues workflow.

2 - A simple (or advanced  :D) sculpting tool that worked right inside the "3D view". Just a brush with some simple functions: rise, lower,
flatten, smooth and so on. This would be very handy for some final touches to the terrain, create caves and lots more.

Feature Requests / Manual Session Save Option
January 12, 2011, 03:02:40 pm
Would it be possible to have a manual option for saving sessions?
Cause sometimes when I close the software it doesn't ask me if I want to save the session
and sometimes it does and this is with the very same scene. Would be nice if I at least could
turn on and option that makes it always ask when I exit the software

I would be very grateful for such an option.

Bug Reports and Help / Basic Coverage Preset Problem
January 06, 2011, 08:35:33 am
Hi,

In the properties for the basic coverage macro there is these presets options. I have some trouble
with this. My saved presets never really gets saved. Only just when I'm working with the scene. When I open
a new scene or start a new project there are only the default preset.

I don't understand the point in me having the ability to save my presets if they don't get saved anyway?

Bug Reports and Help / Build Problem
May 03, 2010, 08:37:44 am
Hi

I'm using the newest version (World Machine 2.2) and I noticed that when I build a terrain, World Machine doesn't use all my cores. When it is building the erosion, it uses only 1, and sometimes 2 of my 4 cores. Is this a bug?
