Attached is a screen shot of what I see in linux running in wine...

The views seem to be working as I managed to double click on a node and it brought up the options, I just cant see anything other then in the 2d view

Here s the terminal output:

$ wine /home/User/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/World\ Machine\ 2\ Standard/World\ Machine.exe
Init: Start First FileNew
DevView:Create
Exp:Create
NewDocument()
WMDoc: PreviewAll
Leftside: Begin OnInitial
Leftside: End OnInitial
2DView: InitialUpdate
DevView:InitialUpdate
OpenGLView:InitialUpdate
Exp:InitUpdate
Init: End First FileNew
Init: Doc Pointer: 1

Init: Clipboard done
WMDoc: PreviewAll
Init: Preferences done
Init: Plugins done
Init: Begin File Open/New/Processing
NewDocument()
WMDoc: PreviewAll
Leftside: Begin OnInitial
2DView: InitialUpdate
DevView:InitialUpdate
OpenGLView:InitialUpdate
Exp:InitUpdate
Init: done with WM init

Just a further update here:

Thanks to some help from AMD, I believe I have identified a workaround for the "forced vsynch and triple buffer" crash issue. It will be in 2.3 Final.
