Hi people.  I'm really new to this whole world machine thing, so could you tell me if macros made in past versions will work in the 1.0 version?

Zipclaw

Yeah, they do. I was asking myself the same some time ago and just tried it out. The result is, the macros of .99 work with 1.0. I haven't tested with 1.2, though...

In some other thread is mentioned, that the erosion device of versions before WM1 will not really work on large maps.

(I can't find the thread anymore.)

Yes they work fine..

Erosion did have some sligth changes.. The properties dialog suffered some improvements but you can still use it in the old version (if you loaded it). You need to replace it by the new version manually, if you want to use the new one. But the old one still works.

Some of the PDK-designed plugins don't work with 1.2, even though they worked with 1.0.
