I'm trying to reproduce *this* desertic landscape, but I cant seem to think of a chain that could give me this type of results....

Anybody?

Thank you! ^^

Stephen

Without trying myself, here's a few thoughts:

The overall shape could probably be done quite successfully with an Advanced Perlin Noise device set to Billowy noise. Also, there's some clear erosion gullies going on in that terrain, both more smooth midscale ones and also some sharp jagged gullies. So definitely some erosion.

Here's a world file I put together that is a rough first-pass approximation. The slope sides of some of the terrain is not right, but it has some of the gross characteristics of that scene.

What Plugins are needed to see this? I got a warning and only saw black lines and no devices.
EDIT: Just realised that it's because the file was made in 2.3 and not 2.2.
