way to randomize smooth shape edges

Is there a way to randomize the smooth edges that the shapes create?  I am utilizing layout generators to create "regions" of varying terrain, but for the denser terrains (such as a swamp), the smooth edges appear abnormal.  Any way to fix this without having to manually go in and muck with it?

Construc

at the end of the nodes where the final heightmap is, add a combiner that adds a perlin noise on a very small scale. make sure that the perlin noise is set to the far left so you get very small randomised edges.

Another good way to break up the unnatural edges of layout shapes is to enabled Breakup in the layout.  Simply check the Use Breakup option in the Layout Generator, possibly tweaking the parameters as needed.
