[Solved] WM Map Size in Game Engines

Hello everyone!

I have been playing a while with World Machine and came across an issue I yet cant solve.

I imported a heightmap bitmap, added some filters and stuff to alter the terrain and exported several textures as well as the heightmap output as .r16 and leveller files. Now when I upload it to my engine of choice, which is the hero engine at this point, the terrain is really big. Like totally.

I then experimented with the settings in the 'Project World Parameters' as well as resizing the marker in the 'Render Extent Mode'. It resized the map to the right size in the top view and I would have expected that the height was resized properly, too. But it is not. It is resized but way to high in relation to the sides which are 2km x 2km now (starting with the too big 8km x 8km).

I tried the 'clamp' and 'height splitter' but still it doesn't work =)

Help is much appreciated since search and trial&error didn't help me.

Actually I solved it by going to the 'Project World Parameters', clicking the 'General Setup' tab and changing the 'Terrain Altitude Scaling' to a value that suited the terrain. =)
