Limited erosion

Hello,

One I add the Erosion node, It applies to whole the terrain.
How can I make it apply only on a small part I want?

(WM 2 pro)

Hi there,

just use the Mask input at the bottom of the erosion device -- for choosing what area manually, connect a Layout Generator device into the mask input then draw shapes in layout view showing what areas of the map should be eroded.

This doesn't seem to work for me. I have the following on my graph:

File Input (Primary Output connected to Primary Input of Erosion)

Layout Generator (Primary Output connected to Mask Input of Erosion)

Hi,

So just to confirm, when you click on the layout generator, in the preview window you should see the mask you've created -- white (or raised) where you want the effect to occur and black (or low) where you do not, is that correct?

I've been having this problem now, just because I forgot that the output of the "file input" shouldnt be connected to the input of the layout generator.
