Converting Integer to Scalar
« on: December 11, 2013, 01:20:12 PM »
Hi,

Is it possible convert from an integer value to a scalar value to drive a device. This is to make a macro where input units would be in degrees for slope selection, to make it more real world friendly as opposed to using values from 0.0 to 1.0 etc?

Thanks,

R.

Hi there,

currently this is not possible, sorry. I agree that it would be useful to have implicit conversion, or at the least a "casting" device that could convert for you.

Hi,

Thanks for the response, how easy would it be to make the "scalar arithmetic device" always cast the input to a float?
