Variable falloff for a spline
« on: July 24, 2014, 10:52:14 AM »
I was thinking it would be really handy to have the ability to control the fall off distance for each vertex in a spline in the layout generator.

I like the way you can vary the height of each vertex, I'd just like the ability to control its falloff.

Perhaps there could be a way to control this with the breakup too, in case you want only a few verts in your spline but want tons of variety in the fall off, obviously within a range of values you set. (aka a max and minimum value)

Yes -- variable width falloff is a very logical and important feature. The next dev release after the imminently upcoming one will be focusing on a lot of layout/shape improvements, so this is high on my list for that.
