Some standard macros
« on: July 31, 2007, 01:05:37 PM »
Here are some of my macros.
Some of them take a very long time to render on a large terrain!

Beach generator
Generates a beach based on water height.
It basically flattens the land under the selected height with an option to keep rocks that are steeper than specified.
Takes a long time to render.
Standard version

Curved terrace
Creates terraces that aren't flat, but curving.
Basic version

Island generator
Creates an island with various options.
Takes a long time to render.
Standard version

Coverage generator
Creates masks like terragen does: height, slope, fuzzyness, coverage...
Standard version

You are free to do whatever you want with it.

Mh... No, but most of them can be replaced by macros or devices from WM2:
- Beach generator can be replaced by the Coast Erosion device
- Curved terrace: terraces were improved in WM2, now they have more options...
- Island generator can be easily replaced with Layout Mode
- And Coverage generator can more or less be replaced with my macro "Simple Layer" that comes with WM2. But if you wait a few minutes, I'll create another macro that just generates the coverage.

Here is the Coverage Generator macro I've just made. Tell me if you have issues with it.
