System info: WindowsXP 64bit, 4gb ram, nvidia 9800 gtx, World Machine 2 Pro (using the 64bit version unless noted)

I've tested and confirmed that PNG (height and rgb) and tiff (height) export and are recognized and imported as high bit depth by both Photoshop 7 and CS3.

Double check that the export settings are right; also at least for PNG files windows will recognize and report its bit depth in the right click->properties->summary tab.
