Hi, I want to make my land as in the picture, basically, I used the input file, and I would like that after I put the colorizer not appear as in the picture and I would keep as default, in more detail. My land is almost flat so it’s less easy.
Could you explain your issue a bit more in depth? I can’t grasp what you are trying to say.
Do you want the colorizer to make sharper color changes?
No, more accurately in the colors, I like to see the grains.
For more realism in the field.
What grains are you talking about?
The output of the colorizer is just an image the size of the terrain heightmap, every pixel in the image corresponds to one pixel in the heightmap.
The tiling texture you see in World Machine when you zoom up close can’t be controlled, it’s hardcoded into the software.
What you can do is press on the camera icon that says “Full Detail Snapshot” in the 3D view mode and it will make that tiling texture “pop” a little bit more
if your input texture has too low contrast you can always add clamp node (use Expand mode) and use sliders to boost height range
you can also mix expanded result with some fractal/noise (perlin,…) before going to colorizer
