It’d be neat to be able to select with the rectangular selection tool multiple points of a given polygon or line, in order to shift them around.
Maybe when having the object selected and using the selection it would apply only to the points of the selected object, when having nothing selected it could work as usual
I think that last suggestion may annoy a few, as it would lead to some weird behaviour for beginners and such. In stead, I propose that, when you already have selected one or more shapes, you press down ALT whilst selecting, limiting your new selection to only those shapes. The behaviour you wanted, but without the “strange” behaviour for people unaware of this feature.
