World Machine Tutorial Videos

Just purchased the series, downloading now, it’s dirt cheap (also i assume it’s going to be pretty decent video quality, >1GB download)

Finishing new tutorials, http://www.geekatplay.com/ewm3.php No Vue or other texturing applications. All textures and color maps with WM2.

how long is this series of tutorials ?

Combine time around 3hr + (depend on series) . Tutorials split in segments 10-25 min each. It is project based tutorials. 4-6 projects per set. You can watch tutorials on website or my youtube channel, not all of them unlocked, yet. But in time all of them will be free. So far i have almost 1500 free, unlocked video tutorials (3d and digital art) on my channel.

Do you happen to have tutorials about making snowy landscapes / mesas (separately and combined) in World Machine + Blender (or using just World Machine)?

Something similar to this:

I posted this one on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDkaJdWXldk

for an in depth look, you might want to purchase similar tutorials from geekatplay’s site.

Watch free video tutorials at youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/GeekatplayStudio or at http://www.geekatplay.com/wm.php more tutorials added weekly.

@geekatplay: do you skip some tutorials from the set when making them public on youtube? also, i need exploring wm series 3 (texturing with wm) but you seem to have abandoned it for the freebies.

i am trying to release free every week, possible missed some. Thank you for reminding.

Japp - same goes for series 2: http://www.geekatplay.com/ewm2.php

Would be awesome, if we can get some more free tutorials

Here’s a small tutorial I made on how to import your heightmap into blender. This does not go into texturing, the next one will. Hope you learn something!

@geekatplay: do you have (in plans maybe) tutorials about Vue Esprit 2015 > Blender workflow by chance? I am thinking to get Vue to generate some nice landscapes (I sure hope so, as I have never worked with it before), get them into Blender, decimate for game engine and bake textures from high poly copy. If possible, add some wear and tear in World Machine. Having a tutorial about this process would definitely allow me (and I am sure many other game devs) to hit the ground running. Thanks.

New tutorials released: http://www.geekatplay.com/world-machine-tutorials.php now eight series, hundred of tutorials, most free to watch at the web site or youtube.
