It only happens when the falloff is set to 0 M for the line. If I change it to 23 M I can get to the popupwindow .

I will put this on the bug list. In the interim, you can still drag-select the shape by dragging a box around it, then click on the shape properties button to access the properties window

I wanted to get the “Edit lofting curve” . I can only find it in the pop up menu. But it turned out I also needed the fall of to be set to 96 M so I am good
