Only text dissapear. Default emoji and unicode stuff still be visible. But if you want to have that stuff - i think this function must be unificated - so emoji in that case also should to dissapear
To be honest, I’m not sure what’s happening here either. I’ve also encountered the issue, particularly noticible on high dpi displays.
The changes to Hurricane Ridge that allowed full unicode support involve relying on a 3rd party font library and the issue seems to be happening in there.
