While work in WM i find useful that Tiled Builds not fill your RAM after build by datapackages to display in viewport

I want try to discuss point, about ability to add the same stuff, but for the Normal Builds. We already have some options to clean cache and RAM in that gear in bottom right corner. So - maybe you could add checkbox, that will do cleaning instantly after Normal Build end as Tiled Builds dooo?

o, ye, i forget to say context of usage case:

  • i use projects to quickly output modified heightmaps into disk, with need to edit them more in another instance of another software - so as result i’m very interested in just receiving asset, without displaying it in viewport and consuming of RAM. I understand that it is possible to obtain by editing of Preferences - but Preferences is not individual thing. They impact all WM projects.

On similar lines, I’ve actually been thinking about changing the “Tiled Build” button on the toolbar into a “Final Build” button.

If your scene is flagged for the final build to be tiled, it does that. if its flagged to be a single file, it will do a single build at higest res with memory conservation and export all outputs automatically turned on.

For very-high-res builds, you more or less always want to do them with mem conserve on, but that’s a much less desirable way to do test builds. It would be nice to be able to split the difference.
