This scene is what I was shooting for in my last project, focusing on the type of erosion you might see in dry lake beds. To go with a drier landscape I added sparse vegetation, and my texturing of the rocks explores a newer, more subtly colored technique. I could not get the water mesh to work with the land mesh, with ground breaking up through the water at various points in the river, so the river surface is part of the land mesh this time. Initially, the way I combined fine erosion for the lake beds was too strong, so I made some adjustments and re-exported the model.
