I just came here to report the same thing. It’s using about 1% of my CPU and similarly low memory. It’s just the Interface itself that locks up for minutes at a time when connecting or disconnecting any node.
I’m not even sure it’s the preview–it seems to just be the UI. I can be previewing 3 nodes into my graph or the final mix and it’s the same performance. I need to find a fix for this.
