I opened World Machine for the first time in a few months and was greeted with a black screen, however, the program still worked and as far as I can tell I can still do everything normally, I am just unable to see it. I know it still works; when I click on the top of the screen, the drop-down menus will still pop up, and I can still open settings, files, and such. I have tried re-starting my computer and when that didn’t fix anything I re-installed the program, to no avail. The first image is a screenshot from my computer, the second is from World Machines “save viewport as image” feature.

If you will not find a fix by your own - it will be good to create ticket in help center and send email to developer about issue
That is a very odd issue – WM itself doesn’t control the framework of menus, etc. Are you running in a VM/emulation? Updated graphics drivers? This is likely a system issue.
