Changing the file paths question..

I like this program a lot …also im glad it has a 64bit .exe (bought the Pro version)

How do I change the file paths to somewhere other than DRIVE C?

I tried to manually paste a path and it automatically went back to drive C…

My drive C is an SSD with limited space…

I am trying to build a tiled map for export …large scale:
1024x1024 Tile resolution
35x35 Tiles per side
Blending 25%
Final resolution 35840x35840 1.451 meters/pixel

Computer can handle the map no problem …just cant handle dumping it all on drive C … its nearly full already.

Soo…back to my question…how do I make the program use a drive other than C …without it automatically switching back?

Glad to hear you’re enjoying using World Machine!

To set the program paths, click the “set” button instead of directly editing the paths. There was a snafu with the edit boxes which are not directly changeable at the moment – they were originally just read-only and never got properly updated.

This will be fixed in the 2.3 release! Until then, use the set button or edit the paths manually in your world.ini file in your Users<yourUser>\AppData\Roaming\World Machine 2.2 Professional\ folder.
