I’m playing with the basic edition of WM2 to try it out and see if its suitable for a project I’m working on.
I construct terrain maps based on real-world GPS tracks. I turn these tracks into gray scale masks that are meant to represent terrain and height. With some software I have, I’m able to turn these into very simple stylized terrain maps. I’d like to use these gray scale masks as heightmap inputs, but…I have no idea what a heightmap is to WM2, nor how to input it into WM2 as a “hint” for how it should draw terrains.
Any suggestions as to where to look or how I might do this?
