Hello,

I need a way to export a information about ‘File Input’ device.

I think the information in the device third out port(File Metadata(Text/XML).
But third out port hasn’t any information. That port return ‘NULL’.

I need to get a loaded filename in File Input device.

Unfortunately, the metadata output contains only a limited subset of information: specifically, if the input type is a file format that carries scale data, the Meta out will carry along that scale data to the output.

There is currently no way to transmit filename information, although I agree that would be a useful ability!
