What we need is a glacier macro (Made) with a river channel macro connected so that we can do things like this.

Can’t we already do this? There’s a glacier macro and we have rivers via the layout generator. The glacier doesn’t actually carve out the terrain though.
This terrain actually looks quite like areas of my terrain and I’m glad you posted this because I thought that my river channels looked too obvious and contrived and like motorways, but I always figured they could be paths of glaciers. This pic even has a feature that I have and was was going to delete: the deep glacial run going west-east and sitting just behind what is really, only a small bank if foothills.
I think we do need a glacier erosion as a natural filter alongside the erosion filter. Glaciers are extremely important erosional agents.
