Importing BMP file

Hi,

I am evaluating World Machine and have immediately hit a snag. I’m importing a BMP heightfield which looks very much as if the X- and Y- dimensions have been interchanged. The result is a distorted image with a crease running diagonally across the image.

Is this a known problem and, if so, is there a fix in the works?

Would appreciate any help!

This is actually not a known bug, but I just confirmed it and it is luckily a quick fix that will make it into the shortly upcoming 1.25.

Using a 24bit RGB and an uneven size causes the offsetting behavior; if you re-save the bitmap as a 32bit image it will function correctly as an interim solution.

I also experienced this - it seems that the imported bmp has to have a standard size like 512*512 to be read correctly.
