Layout generator now broken.

sighs I had so much hope for this new version. :?

when selecting a point on a layout object and setting it’s individual height(for ramps and such) WM2.2 ignores it on polygons.

I tried using a line and it resulted in other oddities like setting heights on points I had not even selected.

Hi there,

polygons have never had support for individual heights – this has been a highly requested feature, but since 2.2 was focused mostly on bug fixes, memory, and speed it didn’t make it in.

I’m not aware currently of any oddities on line heights – could you explain further?

They haven’t? I could have sworn, oh well.

ok. Here is what I did.

Made a line.

Set it’s height to match my top elevation(1225).

right clicked bottom point, set it to 850.(I really wish this was number input not a slider!)

when the height was applied it made the other point low as well.

Any luck reproducing this? do you need a video of me doing it(my descriptions are kinda suck)

I think I’ve replicated this behavior.

I only have it occur when I have a line with no vertex heights set, and then set a custom height on a vertex NOT at the end of the line. Doing so causes an odd line height change at unrelated vertices.

This is definitely a bug, and I’ll put it in the database.

The workaround is to have >1 vertices set on a line; this seems to fix the error
