LocalSpace for filters and nature

I was thinking a lot lately on how nice it would be to have an option in Filters and Nature to be able to change it from worldspace to local space which allow you to highlight or select a curtain part of your terrain or heightmap and have it only apply to that section of your world

what do you guys think of this idea?

I think that would be very cool indeed, giving you much higher fidelity effects without having to run it over the entirety of the terrain, saving CPU resources.

One major issue I see with this, and that is also what tiled rendering suffers from, is the lack of continuity and border artefacts. So one would always need to mask within that instance.

A convoluted workaround is working with extents and library devices. That way you can create a smaller asset for you terrain and import it later on. This, however, is a very unpolished workflow.
