Macro lock forget who is its owner after license upgrade

I forget to write about that thing before:

My old situation:
In ~2020 or so i did buy WM Standart Edition
After year of usage i did upgrade to WM Pro Edition

Upgrade system works in such way, that you just receive new license key each time. So i did lost editing access to all my macros made on Standart. Yeee, i understand that i can login from Standart, remove lock… Buuut it is quite time-consuming, you know… Maybe upgrade system should not generate two different licenses? Or connect their locks on macroses somehow? It would be great :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Also this “bug” is important in context of previous topic: Request to provide some way to digitally sign the TMD project file, or already have it? - Development and Feature Requests - World Machine Community Because i may expect same bug in next updates - if user will upgrade Standart to Pro - he will lost access to all projects made on Standart edition before, - yooo it is not good

Also if developer did not read all threads, want to point you (developer) here: Considering purchasing a license - some questions - #8 by Tomatiy. It is one more “bug” related to upgrade system. I think it is logically that you made such upgrade system (because you a programmer and you see all structure logic cases) but i may suggest to write somewhere, that for user it is more money-efficient to not buy Pro license first, but to buy Standart and upgrade it to receive 2 licenses for same amount of money (for some guys it may be useful to use 4 intances for 300 usd)

and one more: Considering purchasing a license - some questions - #4 by Tomatiy

Two things:

  1. Currently, upgrading a license from Std involves receiving a new license key. This was done primarily so you could still download and run older versions that expected a particular reg key for each edition.

  2. More importantly, the Standard edition is actually not supposed to be able to lock a macro at all! This is a pro-level feature. At some point switching to the new LTE branch, this ability was un-gated. It was previously not available to std edition users in older builds, and is also no longer available in new indie builds. (Affected macros will remain locked, but you will no longer be able to lock new ones).
