Mountain/Rock from a picture

Heyho,

does anyone here has an idea how to recreate a mountain like the one on the right side of the image?: http://www.gleich-wieder-da.de/wp-content/gallery/textbilder-coppercanyon/Berg.jpg

The mountain almost looks like one huge and harsh rock with a few ledges, where vegetation can grow and I would love to use such mountains in WM but sadly I failed to recreate them so far.

I hope someone has an idea :slight_smile:

Sharp edges like that must be created with 3d software like Maya.
It can not be made in WM or any other Heightmap software.

I have to stick to Heightmaps.
Do you have an idea how to get as close to this as WM allows?

Try using Terrace or/and curves or/and Layouts

When I do that I usually end up with something very similar to mesas …
