Perlin noise positioning control

Hello,
this beautiful program has this ‘lousy method’ of positioning the overall perlin.
For users of Bryce, there is a simple method called tile north, south, …
I would prefer a method like move perlin north by 95% and east by 38% relative to the current view.
Oshyan mentioned that in 1.0 for calculating the devices a larger area will be used. Therefore it should be possible to have a little preview window of the surrounding area :smiley:

As you can see in the development diary, there should be an explorer mode (screenshots here and here) in the next version.

Otherwise you can try this : Double click on your perlin noise, turn on “Enable distorsion input”. Click OK, and link a Constant generator (Heighmap Operators > Generators), set with full height, to the newly created input on the perlin noise.
Simpy play with Strength and Direction to place the perlin as you want.
