Sometimes it is very comfortable to select 999 nodes, and set their settings to default in one click (Like in my case with 999 File Input Nodes)
Many devices need to be reworked for macro system and tiled builds, and both those areas (Macro system and Tiling) need to be improved to provide access to more parameters and devices. About that general premise, I agree. Not sure why I would ever need programmatic control over a thousand nodes, but still useful stuff for anything more than 10 nodes lol!
