I am trying to prevent erosion from destroying a masked area. Mainly I am creating detail for certain areas on my own in another program, but when the erosion runs through it just decimates the detailed areas I have done. Using masks helps a bit with very large areas I tell it not to erode but when I get to a certain level of finer detail (smaller areas) the erosion just eats it away.
Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening or at least to tone down the erosion that happens in these areas specifically?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
