I try to import USGS geotif format into worldmachine but currently it doesn’t work. It look like if I imported a high contrasted black and white image. It say “No scale data present in file!” That’s very weird because I follow correctly step by step a tutorial about this topic. Do you have any idea?

I get this too, but the problem is inconsistent. It mostly works but always and I dont know why. I couldnt say if this is a world machine problem or not, however. Could be a problem with the tif but Im not doing anything different with the files that dont work compared with the ones that do.
I’m not sure if this is of any help, but I had problems when using GeoTiffs, too. I processed them using the gdal utilities, and after some trial and errors found out I explicitly had to write them in float32 format so that World Machine could read them.
