sand ripples

Hi,

I’m trying to work out how to add surface ripples to an already built world machine terrain.

Can anyone tell me how to do this ?

that sounds like something similar to dunes macro… However, I don’t know how nicely it will add to your terrain… you can do some similar ripples using a ramp device after a gradient… and transforming it with canyonize (transform device)…

The “dunes macro” will work but you have to set the dunes very low, unless you want huge dunes. And here’s your set up.

If you want the dunes to follow your terrain more closly run the middle out put from the spliter to the Dunes input.
