I am trying to save out the erosion height output as multiple frames. I want to use automation to show erosion over time.
If I use automation and the xml World Machine overwrites the same file every time. I need to write sequential frames. My guess was that the “Metadata Input (Text/XML)” port of the “Height Output” Device would do this. I tried laying out all the devices and the only one that displays ports when trying to wire this metadata port is the “File Input” device. The problem is the “File Input” device does not allow me to select an xml or text document.
So my main question is how can I save out a frame sequence? My secondary question is how is Metadata Input used?
