I would like to have an option on the current Perlin Noise generator for spherical wraps to a given radius. I would like to be able to take a ‘planetary view’ of the perlin noise generated and wrap it around a sphere, and then ‘zoom in’ to the specific region I’m actually developing. Whatever is ‘center’ for the noise being generated should be presumed to be a point centered on the equator, and the equator should be twice the distance of pole to pole.
Would anyone be willing to take on the project?
