Thrust Mountains

Folded mountains and thrust mountains

These mountains are formed in fold-thrust belts and, for
the most part, represent collision zones of continents.
They formed as a result of strong compression that
produces both folding and thrust (low angle reverse)
faulting.

PS: The only downside to this is terrain is if the angled strata device had a mask input because i don’t want
the strata present everywhere and if there were a way to flatten the base of the alluvial fans and have
them spread out alot farther.

More nice work here. It looks like you’re really building up a great library. These will be awesome to work with in Layout mode…

Layout Mode! Yes! Can’t wait.

Hopefully the Spectral Combiner device will solve the strata and alluvial fan problem? or maybie Stephen has a newer version of the Angled Strata device for Pro? Gosh, i’d hate to speculate though.

Still trying to figure out the Bedrock terrains, i think i am thinking the nevada basin for young mountains and bedrock? More research needs to be done on that.
