Is there any way to generate tilable terrains - as in, the terrain will match with itself at opposite edges?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Any ideas? I probably should have checked this before I bought WM2 over Terragen Classic (which does this) because it’s kind of important for my purposes…
Darn it.
What version of world machine did you buy? Only the pro version can handle terrain tiling: http://world-machine.com/chart.html
@chocotaco I think there’s a macro for that somewhere.
I wrote a macro that offsets a terrain so you have the edge in the middle. That should make it easier to remove that edge (eg by replacing that area with something else)

There is a “Seamless Map” macro, yes:
This macro creates a seamlessly repeatable map.
This is version 3 of this macro, and no longer needs the zooming of the previous version, so there should be better detail in the final result.parameters:
trans width - width of the transition area (keep this different from 0)
trans noise amount - amount of noise distorting the transition/repetition area (best if it is this low)
trans noise scale - scale of the noise used (if no distortion map is supplied)
trans noise style - style of the noise to use (if no distortion map is supplied)
