Unstabalized noise problem.

If you uncheck stabalize noise, it’ll cause explorer mode to look quite miserable.

indeed. This is where I say “Don’t uncheck stabilized noise if you want to use explorer.” :slight_smile:

By its very nature unstabilized noise is incompatible with Explorer mode. The perlin generator could be made to flag the device with the “!” warning when you set it to unstabilized noise, but that hasn’t been implemented.

Unstable and stable noise – the only difference is that unstabilized noise is always scaled to fill the full range of heights. This will obviously be a problem in Explorer, since each tile will have a different height range.
