What caused this?

So I was finishing off my terrain when I noticed this in only the 2D view.

Do anyone know how this was caused?

Erosion and narrow extents can bring to this kind of effects.

It seems (but I’m not the author) that WM treats the extents like “boxes”: this means, if some of the terrain carried by erosions’ flows toward the extent’s “wall”, that terrain will build up instead of rolling outside the extent.

Also, at what resolution did you render that terrain? =o

Edit: Ops, missed the “only the 2D view” part…what about the 3D view, can you give us a screenshot of that too? =)

Thanks to you saying that the prob was my erosion I figured out that it was because I had the geological time enabled. Thanks :smiley:
