Terrain for Battlefield 2 modification I’m working on, this i made fairly long time ago with world machine 1. Nothing special really but beats hand painted heightmaps for sure.
Moving the ME-DEM project on. This combines the use of World Machine and Global Mapper. This is fully georeferenced terrain. We roundtrip betwee nthe two apps. Progressively building up areas of detail. The core data set resides in GM. All of the terrain modelling is done in WM. There is no erosion applied as yet.

The hydrography in this model is intended to work, ie drop some physics sim water on it and the rivers will flow in the way prescribed from the topo map I worked from. this is a tiny section (approx 400 km) of the full terrain. Full extents = 4000 km across.

Guess I’m a bit confused. I tried to attach two files that totaled less than 256kb combined, but get a message saying the maximum size allowed is 192kb. The note under “Attach” says 256kb. What am I missing?
now im just going to spam this one more time seeing as nobody said anything at all…
