I am running World Machine pro on a windows 7 64 bit computer with 16 gb Ram. I was running building a test with 4 tiles (4097). I keep getting out of memory errors. When I look at the “about world machine” panel it just says World Machine 2.2 Professional Edition. How can I tell if I installed the 64 bit version?

That definitely is unexpected with a 16gb 64bit machine!
By default both the 32bit and 64bit editions are installed for the Pro edition. You can launch the 64bit edition by choosing the “World Machine 64bit Edition” link from the start menu instead of the plain “World Machine” link.
(In more detail: make sure you’re running /Program Files (x86)/World Machine 2 Professional/World Machine64.exe if you installed to the default location)
