When I activate Lightmode UI the dropdown menu’s backgrounds don’t change to white.
This is problematic, as the text changes to black; so its black on black.

Just tried this on my end and I have the same issue and I don’t see any controls for it in any of the menus, so it appears to be a bug. Furthermore, WM does not store the theme you’re using, so you’d have to rest the theme everytime you start up WM, which is quite cumbersome. Lastly, the views are still in dark mode, so all together, it is either a bug or poorly implemented.
For now, I suggest you stick with the dark theme.
