I’m currently trying to make some textures inside of World Machine which would have a normal map, AO, and also specular channels. (This is a personal challenge to increase my World Machine skills.)
I’m currently struggling to create a seamless texture procedurally, so if anyone could help me that would be great!

Hi there,
There’s no one-click option, but it’s easy enough to create the wrap-around in World Machine.
Here’s an example file demonstrating this. This could be simplified further into a macro but I think you should be able to get what you need out of it:
WraparoundMap.tmd (31.3 KB)
Alternatively, I have a macro which does this. It’s part of my macro pack and is called Seamless (yes a very original name lol).
What should I do if I also want rotational tileability?
The seamless thing does work but not for rotation.

Can you clarify what you mean with “rotational”? Is it just rotating a texture 90°? I’m not sure if that is possible without weird artefacts.
By rotational I mean it would tile seamlessly even when the heightmap is rotated by a multiple of 90 degrees.
